Our Candidates

States Win helps build lasting progressive power in state legislatures by supporting candidates, mobilizing volunteers, and educating voters. Because so many of the most important decisions on key issues like abortion access, voting rights, workers' rights, and redistricing happen in states, our work focuses on key state legislative races across the country.

Each election cycle, the national States Win team identifies the most competitive and high-impact districts where grassroots organizing can make the biggest difference. Chapters like Massachusetts-Rhode Island are then assigned candidates to support.

Throughout the year, our volunteers raise awareness about and raise funds, call voters, write postcards, and canvass for these candidates in critical battleground races.
